Nicholas Hopkins Brings Home The Trophy

I am thrilled to announce the news that our very own Associate Director Nicholas Hopkins, triumphed at last week’s Investing in Talent Awards 2021, winning ‘Most Inspiring Team Leader / Manager’.

Although this award recognised Nicholas’ hard work in 2020/2021, to me this incredible accolade is a wonderful acknowledgment of the hard work and energy that Nicholas brings to his role every single day.

I have had the pleasure of working with Nicholas for 8+ years, watching him grow from a junior recruitment consultant to an associate director at VIQU. He is enthusiastic and unapologetically passionate about recruitment and the IT industry. The Recruiter Investing in Talent judges were certainly correct on the night when they described Nicholas as ‘a very worthy winner’ who ‘clearly demonstrated a passion for the recruitment industry’.

Judges’ comments: “A worthy winner. The IT volunteer initiative was inspired and not only supported the NHS through a challenging period but also gave Nicholas’ team a sense of purpose and unity as they adapted to the changing market. In addition, he anticipated that as things returned to normal that there would inevitably be a huge skills shortage in the IT sector. He oversaw a sponsorship initiative within his own business which he then rolled out to clients to support their post-pandemic hiring plans.”
