VIQU’s Grant Baker Wins ‘Best Contractor Recruiter’

I am delighted to announce that Grant Baker was awarded ‘Best Contractor Recruiter’ at last week’s 2023 Contracting Awards.

Grant joined VIQU’s Account Management team, under my management, nearly four years ago, and it’s been a pleasure to see his professional development and progress since then. He started as an Account Manager and quickly advanced into a Senior Account Manager, due to his ability to form quality relationships with clients and contractors alike. In Grant’s role, he works closely with our IT reseller channel partners, consistently delivering impressive results.

Our senior leadership team voted to nominate Grant for the ‘Best Contractor Recruiter’ award category because he consistently delivers a high level of service to all parties, often under pressure. He’s agile, efficient, and highly knowledgeable about IT contract recruitment.

I attended The Contracting Awards evening alongside Grant and our Head of Business Support, Louise Gasper, and I was filled with pride when Grant’s name was called.

The awards judges commented that Grant “… was a fantastic entry, backed up by some superb figures, and plenty of feedback and testimonials. Grant is clearly hugely knowledgeable and very skilled in his role.”
