Product Owner, Leicestershire - market rates
We are representing a rapidly growing technology business who has gone from strength to strength in the last 12 months and seen significant uptake in their online products. They are now hiring for a Product Owner to work within their business systems division and work closely with their customer services / call centre teams. This role is primarily focused on their online products to recommend new features / applications to ensure the services is the best it can be for both the internal customer service team and their customers.
It is important that as the Product Owner you have experience in both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies and very comfortable in gathering project requirements, writing user stories and acceptance criteria. The role will require you to understand the strategy and drivers for the online teams, act as the liaison between the development teams and the customers to ensure new features are added where required, review and improve the services and technical solutions within this division and stay abreast with trends to be able to ensure continual improvements of the services and processes.
Whilst, previous people management experience isn’t an essential requirement – this role will be management duties for two junior product owners that you will be mentoring and coaching on a daily basis.
- Proven track record within a Product Owner position (online based applications would be a benefits)
- Understanding of a call centre / customer services environment would be advantageous
- Previous experience working with development teams and the business to gather technical requirements
- Possess a passion for creating solutions wit a positive attitude
- Have a natural ability to be able to motivate others and lead change
- History working in large / diverse project teams
- Previous experience working with CRYM systems and an awareness of the customer journey
