IT Support Engineer

IT Support Engineer - £23,000 – £25,000 - Hybrid

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Support engineer to join a small team of 1 Head of IT and two Support Engineers within a charity organization supporting their internal users with 1st and 2nd line support. Due to continued expansion, they require well-rounded and hands on IT Support Engineer.

Your new role

You will be supporting internal users across onsite and offsite resolving 1st and 2nd line support issues covering CRM, desktops, mobile devices, Network installations, Hardware and completing software installations.

You would be required to be on site twice a week in Birmingham to support users online and work remaining days from home.

What you'll need to succeed as an IT Support Engineer

Experience in:

  • 2-5 years’ experience supporting within 1st and 2nd line
  • Active Directory
  • Working knowledge of fundamental network technologies such as routers, firewalls, switches, TCP/IP and DNS.
  • Exchange online
  • Windows 7, Windows 10 and Office 365 experience
  • Intune
  • SCCM
  • Providing desktop support to a large user base
  • Network Installation
  • Software and hardware installations
  • Providing a good level of customer service – provide all clients with a friendly, quick, and helpful experience
  • Resolve issues for the client with onsite and remote troubleshooting
