Desktop Support Engineer

Volunteer Work Initially - x2 Desktop Engineers (2nd Line Support Experience)

VIQU are working with NHS Trusts by supporting them with outstanding IT Projects with IT professionals suitable and available to assist whilst in between contracts, made redundant or furloughed.

This NHS Trust in Lancashire require Desktop Support Engineers to assist with their BAU Issues and assist and ad-hoc project work in Windows 7/10.

The current COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic has placed significant pressure on IT / Digital resources across the NHS. The requirement is to assist them in their time of need, offering your expertise in Desktop support when they have a massive strain on their resource.

Experience of the following is required to perform the role:

  • Windows 7/10
  • Imaging/Deployment
  • Active Directory
  • Exchange
  • Microsoft Office
  • Trouble shooting skills essential
  • Excellent communication skills required

This role is an immediate requirement, with interview slots available next week and once you've been inducted to the organisation 50% home working is encouraged.

This is a role for a volunteer initially but with the project work they have planned there will plenty opportunity to convert this into a paid contract role in the coming weeks.
