VIQU Announced As British Recruitment Awards 2022 Finalists
We are delighted to announce that we have been named as a Finalist for two categories in the British Recruitment Awards 2022.
With a range of categories including ‘Talent Acquisition Strategy of the Year’, ‘Leader of the Year’ and ‘Innovation of the Year’, the British Recruitment Awards 2022 is all about discovering and celebrating individuals and recruitment teams that are passionate about identifying the right people and skillsets to build thriving organisations.
This year, the British Recruitment Awards received over 130 entries from organisations across the UK, with the awards body commenting on the tough competition everyone was up against. Firms who applied ranged from start-up innovators to public sector heroes, tech superstars, global titans and everything in between.
Through consistently developing our team’s understanding of the world of technology and its latest innovations, and by showing a deep commitment to our clients, candidates and the contracting community, we have been selected as ‘Technology Recruitment Agency of the Year’ and ‘Best Overall Candidate Experience’ finalists. We are thrilled to be named alongside other fantastic representatives of the recruitment industry.
The British Recruitment Awards 2022 judging panel included:
- Professor Emma Parry, Head of Changing World of Work Group at Cranfield School of Management
- Scarlett Allen-Horton, Founder & Director at Harper Fox Search Partners
- Richard Waite, People & Culture Director at Grant Thornton
- Sarah McGuire, Head of Talent & Resourcing at Manchester United
- Yasar Ahmad, Global VP of Talent at HelloFresh
- Nate Harwood, Founder at New Possible
Nate Harwood, Founder of New Possible and British Recruitment Awards judge said:
“Hiring great people is key to building a thriving organisation and we’re immensely proud to recognise the inspirational teams and individuals that are working hard to make this happen day-in, day-out. The quality and diversity of entries has made judging a challenge, but also a real privilege. Congratulations to all the Finalists who are helping to showcase British recruitment leadership on a truly global scale.”
Matt Collingwood, Managing Director of VIQU commented:
“The British Recruitment Awards celebrates recruiting stars who are passionate about identifying the right people to help organisations thrive. I believe our team embodies this ethos, supporting organisations big and small, IT professionals with minor and major levels of experience, to find the right fit for them. As an organisation we are incredibly passionate about enabling our team members to develop an in-depth understanding of their market, whilst delivering an excellent level of service; hence why I am so pleased to hear that we have been named as finalists for two award categories that epitomise our dedication in these areas.”
We’ll find out if we’ve won at the British Recruitment Awards ceremony in Central London on the 10th November 2022. Keep your fingers crossed for us!
