IT Support Engineer

1st /2nd Line Support Engineer – 6 months FTC - Hybrid

My customer is looking for a dedicated 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer to help with issues up to L2.

You’ll be working within a technical Support Engineer Team, with your main duties to assist in dealing with all IT related queries which come through.

The 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer is required to work hybrid – a mix of onsite in London, remote and travel to other offices if needed (A car will be provided for travelling to other sites in the Uk)

Primary day to day responsibilities will for the 1st /2nd Line Engineer will include:

  • Previous experience in a 1st /2nd Line Support Engineer role
  • Any desktop experience would be beneficial.
  • Help desk experience.
  • Floorwalking experience, and remote support essential
  • Windows 10 – Administration and Support
  • Office 365 – Administration and Support (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Intune, Autopilot, Endpoint
  • Active Directory experience (and Azure AD)
  • Group policy, TCP/IP, DNS experience.
  • Support of Mobile/iPad devices
  • Any Windows Server experience would be beneficial.
  • Appreciation for Cisco, VMWare and Hyper-V would be beneficial.
  • Previous experience working with call logging package such as Remedy/Service Now
  • 6 months FTC - £30 000 pro rata.

This is a 6 months FTC, and you are required to work on a hybrid approach: Onsite in London and remote. There will also be travel to other sites across the UK (Vehicle will be provided for national travel)
