SQL Developer
SQL Developer – Outside IR35 – Glasgow
My client is looking for a SQL developer to be part of an infrastructure rebuild project. The successful SQL Developer will have experience with modern versions of SQL (2019 – 2022) and have hands on technical experience developing and deploying SQL databases.
Key Responsibilities of the SQL Developer:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining a secure SQL database
- Collaborating with infrastructure and application teams to migrate and modernise systems.
- Supporting continuous integration/deployment pipelines as part of a DevOps-focused rebuild.
- Ensuring data integrity, security, and availability across all environments.
Experience and Technical Skills of the SQL Developer:
- Proven hands-on experience in SQL Server development (T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Indexing, etc.)
- Experience with database deployment and migration during infrastructure or cloud transformation.
- Strong understanding of data modelling, ETL processes, and best practices in relational database design.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with DevOps, Infrastructure, and Application teams
