What is the Future Talent Programme?
The Future Talent Programme is a 6 month development scheme which we have created in order to train our future specialist recruitment consultants!
We’re passionate about continually delivering our clients and candidates an expert level of service. With this mind, earlier this year we made the decision to begin recruiting, training and retaining our own consultants – individuals who we can develop into specialist recruitment consultants, carving out their own particular niches within the IT and Cyber Security industry and owning that space entirely.
The programme is headed up by Bobby Banerjee – a learning and development specialist, with a breadth of experience in specialist technical recruitment, imparting ethical and customer-focused recruitment skills to our existing and new team members.
The Future Talent Programme works on a bi-annual rotation, taking on 5 new individuals in January and July of each year. During this time, the recruitment executives are trained and fully supported by their dedicated manager Bobby, in addition to the wider team.
Individuals who are accepted onto the Future Talent Programme can expect to be challenged, pushed and encouraged to be the very best they can be, learning how to do everything that the skilled recruitment consultants in our existing team do on a daily basis.
We support each member of the Future Talent Programme with the aim that after 6 months, they will be ready to mix into the main VIQU team, taking responsibility for their own specialist area of the IT or Cyber Security market.
After being part of the Future Talent Programme for six months, the learning doesn’t end. Development is a key focus for VIQU – we actively encourage our team to continue their education and learning, whether that’s studying for a leadership diploma or attending one-on-one training or a master class held by an industry expert.
