Nicholas Hopkins - Head of Public Sector Recruitment

As VIQU's Head of Public Sector Recruitment and Contract Team Lead, Nicholas understands the complexities of public sector resourcing. He uses his 14+ years of experience working in IT and public sector recruitment agencies to manage all IT contractor and permanent resource requirements for the public sector, including Local Government, Central Government, Blue Light and the NHS.

Nicholas is passionate about supporting the public sector. During the pandemic, he led our NHS IT Volunteer Initiative, which subsequently saved the NHS approximately £1.95 million and gave 260+ IT professionals the opportunity to work and gain excellent experience during a time of national crisis. Nicholas was awarded 'Most Inspiring Team Leader / Manager' by The Global Recruiter Awards, in part, due to these efforts.

VIQU's NHS IT Volunteer Initiative

In 2020, VIQU placed over 260 IT professionals in volunteer/reduced rate roles to support NHS Trusts during the Corona-19 pandemic, including NHS IT support and training jobs. Recently, our team's efforts were recognised with an award for 'Best Recruitment Team of the Year' at the Recruiter Investing in Talent Awards 2020.
