VIQU have partnered with a leading retail brand who are seeking a Solutions Architect with an Infrastructure focus to join them in their Head Office in Nottingham. The Solutions Architect will predominantly focus on IT infrastructure high-level designs and proposals in response to internal customer requests and project demands.

As the Solutions Architect you’ll be working alongside Service Owners and SMEs to delivery cost effective, supportable end-to-end high-level designs, adhering to enterprise strategy, roadmaps, standards, security and service capability. The successful Solutions Architect will work as part of team that are the driving force of new and emerging technology within an enterprise business. The solutions you’ll be designing will fall within the following technical stack; Azure Cloud, Microsoft Enterprise product suite, Network, Windows & Linux Server Infrastructure, SAP, Database and Security.

Essential Experience required of the Solutions Architect:

• Proven track record creating solutions such as; infrastructure, transformation and migration, security, business analysis, applications, integration and service management
• Designed complex solutions that form part of large-scale projects and programmes
• Worked in a fast-paced environment and owned solutions that are highly available, disaster recovery and business continuity compliant
• Have the ability to juggle many hats including business, commercial and technical
• A natural leader – someone with excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and steer others
• Experience with complex projects and programmes
