Up to £75,000 (12 Month FTC)

VIQU have partnered with a leading UK organisation who are seeking a Senior Oracle Engineer to join them for an initial 12-month Fixed-Term Contract with possibility to become a permanent position if all goes well.

The successful Senior Oracle Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and optimising cloud-based IT services, proactively managing maintenance tasks, and developing strategies that align with business goals. The Senior Oracle Engineer will work to resolve complex third-line issues, conduct research, and collaborate with vendors to implement effective solutions. The Senior Oracle Engineer will also be tasked with developing innovative, cost-effective, and flexible solutions, assessing emerging technologies, and contributing to the organization’s long-term IT strategy by continually refining processes, policies, and tools.

Experience Required of the Senior Oracle Developer:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience, particularly with Oracle Fusion Cloud systems, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• Experience with Oracle Fusion migration projects
• Proficiency in managing cloud platforms such as ServiceNow, Salesforce, and Atlassian is highly desirable. Experience with Oracle integrations involving Salesforce and ServiceNow would be a strong plus.
• Relevant certifications in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or Oracle Fusion Cloud services are a plus.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Exchange, and Microsoft Windows.
• Experience with Backup Lifecycle Management; experience with Veeam (desired)
• Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure (desired)
• Basic experience with Linux systems (desired)
