Network Engineer £36,000 - £38,000 - Newport

VIQU have partnered with a multi-award-winning Welsh health-care organization that are expanding their Networks team. The Network Engineer will be supporting over 10,000 users and over 180 services across over 100 sites. The industry that the organization specializes in is forecasted to expand substantially over the following 5 years and so they are seeking a network engineer for their growing team.

Key responsibilities of the Network Engineer are:

- Roll out a number of network based projects.

- Supports the Network infrastructure including Security and an extensive Wi-Fi estate.

- Undertake the technical tasks required in providing a comprehensive Network, Security (Firewalls)

- Analyse and communicate highly complex technical information to ICT and non-ICT staff. This may include but not limited to HLD/LLD WAN/LAN/Wi-Fi and Firewall documentation, IPV4 route summarisation and IPV4 IPAM.

- Demonstrate strong knowledge in all matters relating to both the wired and wireless network.

Key attributes of the Network Engineer are:

- 3+ years’ experience in network support capacity

- Experience installing and decomissioning network equipment.

- Strong expertise network technologies (Cisco, Aruba, Meraki ect..)

- Great communicative, administrative and time management skills

- Qualified in at least one of the below: CCNA (R&S), CCNA (WIFUND), CCNA (Security), CWTS/CWNA/CWNP, ACWA/ AWCWP, ITIL V3 Foundation
