Junior IT Technician - 6-Month Contract – Wakefield – Inside IR35

VIQU have partnered with an NHS client who are seeking a Junior IT Technician to support the Service Desk team during an upcoming project.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early on in their IT career to gain valuable experience in an IT Support environment, and learn some new skills along the way.

The Role:

The successful Junior IT Technician will be supporting as the trust changes to a new mobile data provider.

Your day-to-day will involve assisting NHS staff in changing their SIM cards on their mobile devices, and ensuring the tracker is kept up-to-date.

Key skills and experience for the Junior IT Technician:

• Experience and/or interest working in an IT Support environment
• Mobile Device Management (MDM) / experience supporting mobile devices
• Asset Management – Excel literacy, experience updating trackers and spreadsheets ensuring all information is collated and organised
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-moving environment

Role details:

• Job role: Junior IT Technician
• Job type: Contract
• Duration: 6 months contract
• Rate: £100 - 110 per day paid to Umbrella company
• Working hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday
• IR35 status: Inside IR35
• Location: Fully onsite in Wakefield
