IT Support Technician – Tamworth - £25,000 - £27,000

VIQU have partnered with a leading Managed Service Provider in Tamworth who are seeking an IT Technician to help support their clients with their day-to-day operational IT support and development.

The candidate will typically be based on a single site but the role may require occasional travel to other sites depending on company requirements. This will be a mix of working from the office in Tamworth and working on client sites. These sites are mostly located within the Midlands.

Main duties of the IT Support Technician:

- To provide IT support on the client’s site.

- Provide technical assistance and software assistance.

- To provide IT training sessions.

- Work alongside the Network Managers & Senior consultants to develop the infrastructures in the sites.

Requirements for the IT Support Technician:

- At least 1 year of experience within an IT support role.

- MUST have a valid UK driving license and own transport.

- Experience and/ or passion for current and emerging cloud technologies.

- Happy to be on client sites or in the Tamworth office five times a week.

- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
