VIQU has partnered with a renowned brand in search of a Head of Cloud Architecture to lead their Centre of Excellence. In this pivotal role, the Head of Cloud Architecture will offer expert technical guidance to shape the strategic direction of the business. The role will involve building and leading a dynamic team of architects, focused on advancing architectural development, enhancing existing capabilities, and driving the integration of automation and AI solutions.

The Head of Cloud Architecture will be an expert in Azure and will have extensive experience in designing and implementing cloud solutions from scratch. You will be the technical voice behind the roadmap and technical strategy, as the role will be split 20% strategic, 40% technical and 40% people/stakeholder management, and you must be able to think ahead and foresee issues before occurrence.

Requirements of the Head of Cloud Architecture:

• Expertise in Azure Cloud strategies, architectural design, and implementation.
• Skilled in cloud solutions, including networking, security, compliance, and migration methodologies.
• Proven leader in aligning enterprise-level cloud strategies with IT and business goals.
• Extensive experience with enterprise applications, IT services, and cloud migrations.
• Knowledgeable in cloud design patterns, operational practices, and cost management.
• Capable of proposing and delivering innovative technical solutions and securing client support.
• Strong communicator of complex cloud concepts to diverse audiences.
• Adept at challenging traditional methodologies and driving innovative service delivery.
• Recognized leader in cloud technology with experience in financial decision-making for cloud investments.
• Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams towards successful cloud outcomes.
